The founder is Dr. Marcy Lee Howard (Dr. Marcy), an American Board Certified Pediatrician with over 20 years experience helping children and families.
Dr. Marcy personally knows ADHD. Four generations of her family have the disorder. Diagnosed originally at three years of age, it was during pediatric residency that treatment was started, giving her a very unique understanding and perspective about life with ADHD, with and without treatment.
A single goal arose from all of Dr. Marcy's experiences both personal and professional. That goal is to find the exact genetic source of ADHD. Then new paths of treatment could be explored, ending the use of ritalin and other neurostimulants.
